after serching here and in jusk yards Im pretty sure that I need an 86-91 waggy to steal the axles out of (d44 frt and rr, drivers side drop) but I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any years that are better than the other? I know that I dont want the disco ones. and were any of them hp ?

Just ran the BOM # on the Dana site and mine is from an 85 Grand Wagoneer. So that should work too.

just stay away from the vaccum disco's.

okay I just wanted to make sure that sertain years between 86-91 were not better than others,( better knuckles,or thicker shafts and u-joints)if they are all the same other than vacume disco than I will pick up an 89 that the local yard has for $75

almost forgot, how do the rear 44 rate? am I better off using it to keep ratios the same till I can rebuild, or a ford 9?
