Its finally time to get my winch. I want the 8274-50. I'm worried it will disrupt my air flow thru the rad. on my EB. Has anyone else had problems like this with the 8274-50.

My second choice would be the HS9500i.

Where is the cheapest price on these two units.

I think the hs9500i is cheaper than the 8274-50?
I have an older 8274, it has been an outstanding winch.
The 8274-50 is probably an even better unit than mine. The HS9500 would probably be a better option for you on the bronco.
It would probably be easier to mount and less obtrusive to airflow. I dont own an EB so I dont know that for sure.

Build a bumper and sink it down into the frame, that will help the flow. I run a very old 8274 and it's a great winch. It does cut the flow into my radiator somewhat, but it hasn't caused an overheating issue.

if you shop around youll find the 8274-50 for around 900.00 the hs9500 if you do the same shoulkd be around 725.00. I have a toyota with an 8274-50 and love it , it causes me no problems.I have a fiend that has a 8274 on a e.b with a skid plate bumper and he has slight overheating issues w/ a 351:D :D

I got my HS9500i off ebay for $780~ to my door brand new with the fairlead, etc. Haven't mounted or used it yet, but I'm sure it will do the trick.

I did talk to a friend with a jeep and he has the HS, and while he loves it, he says it's almost too fast for his tastes. He said he had an old 8274 before the HS, and really liked it a lot.
