Hi all, been lurking for a few days and now that I've got my 93RRC LWB, thought I'd check in and just say 'hello' before I start raining posts down on the board :)
(j/k)
Seriously tho, as you can see I've got some experience with other 4wd's but this RRC is the first Rover I've ever actually driven, so total newbie to all things Rover and the Lord of Darkness. Actually I have two Rovers, the 93 and a just acquired 94, also lwb County, tho the 94 has had the coil conversion done.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you may offer to my future questions :)

LWBs have the most FLY wood.... ever
I just paid $593 for one
a certain friend who will go un-named (brooksy) is already trying to snag parts off of it... but we got it running
i always 'eff with the parts trucks i get, then once they are running, i'm too much of a wimp to use them for parts.
damnit

Which brings up my question: will the parking brake assembly from a b/w fit an LT230?:p

Yes it will. The BW linkage does to be modified, but the disco lt230 linkage is the easiest. I have pics of the BW linkage mod if you need them.

Yah, I'd love to see it, thanks.
Has anyone rebuilt an LT230? The diff in my old one is dead (see the old, OLD thread about the towing company) and I'd like to R&R it to do a conversion in the Classic. I'm thinking that with the puck from BCB, some seals and bearings (maybe the lt230 rebuild kit from RDS?) and a new crossdrilled shaft I may be ok. Or would it just be easier in the long run to suck up the shipping cost and send it to BCB for a rebuild?

Here they are. I had to drill and tap an unused boss for the pivot. Its not as clean as the disco linkage, but it gets the job done.
