A guess would be early 90's ? With the cover only over the generator , and it has the oval slots cut in the sheet metal. I am having a hard time not coming down there to pick this sucker up- what a deal! I am thinking about it though , and will get back to you. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say 1/2" or so may be more? JED morris 02-29-2004, 10:20 PM WELDPRO You're right early 90's I am not the original purchaser, the story of the machine goes like this: when my dad got rid of his welding business he had his large 400 amp lincoln that was brand spankin new and the neighbor kid just went into business for him self and had this miller so my dad being a nice guy and not needing a large machine traded this kid straight across for the miller 251-at the time the welder had 0-zero hours on it and was still wrapped in plastic .so my dad kept it in the garage untill he died and now I've kept it in my garage all of this time.
