I'll take it, I can meet you in San Jose or closer to you most likely on sunday, but earlier if I can get a day off!
Also, can you send me any pics frank_bones@comcast.net, I assume it is in good working condition and ready to use if not what problems does it have?
Thanks
Frankie

Frankie_Bones 02-23-2004, 09:08 PM I just got your pm and I checked the dimensions on the welder, I can't fit this in my sidekick and I don't have enought room at my house (apartment) for a 615lb welder. I didn't know it was that fawkin big, 35x45x13 or whatever, sorry. Looks like someone else is going to get a great deal. :(
Good luck.

I have a Miller Legend 200 amp machine with a onan
welds great.
if you were closer , i would be there.
ttt for ya
morris 02-27-2004, 06:06 PM TTT come awn! this is a killer welder for the price,
just to clear up any future misunderstandings. This is a welder like what would be on a service truck and runs on gasoline.
not a "TRAIL"-blazer welder to take on the trail on your rig

weldpro 02-28-2004, 10:08 PM What is the build year for the unit , and also were you the original purchaser? A guess would be early 90's ? With the cover only over the generator , and it has the oval slots cut in the sheet metal.
I am having a hard time not coming down there to pick this sucker up- what a deal!
I am thinking about it though , and will get back to you.
Richard
fabricator 02-28-2004, 11:06 PM your right is not a trail rig welder.
but, it will fit in the back of your tow rig, which is where i have mine year round
kdolz 02-29-2004, 09:53 PM Send me some pic.'s!
PLANE-SANE 02-29-2004, 10:05 PM how thick would this weld ?
morris 02-29-2004, 10:13 PM I'm not sure how "thick" it will weld in a single pass but it will do more than my skills will allow me to do. If I had to hazard a guess I'd say 1/2" or so may be more?

morris 02-29-2004, 10:20 PM WELDPRO
You're right early 90's
I am not the original purchaser, the story of the machine goes like this:
when my dad got rid of his welding business he had his large 400 amp lincoln that was brand spankin new and the neighbor kid just went into business for him self and had this miller so my dad being a nice guy and not needing a large machine traded this kid straight across for the miller 251-at the time the welder had 0-zero hours on it and was still wrapped in plastic .so my dad kept it in the garage untill he died and now I've kept it in my garage all of this time.
