ok so i have some really really crazy stuff going on that makes no sense.
i have no power to my ignition at all. i have power leaving the solinoid and some where along the line i am losing it and it is not making it to my stearing column and to my ignition. 85 f250 7.5l it is the strangest thing because i just cant seem to track down with the test light where the hell i am losing power at. any one have any ideas of what to check? even stranger i get power to my internal clock and none to my headlights or break lights but those are all also connected with the column so who knows right. i wonder if the clutch lockout or ignition switch have anything to do with it im going crazy im being a begger please throw me some ideas on what i can try

Get a Haynes manual, or a shop manual on CD from Ebay, and check all your fusable links. I had one go bad on my ranger and was in the same boat as you. Some of my stuff had power while others did not, and there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what did and didn't.

Sounds like you have a blown fuseable link.
The headlights and brakelights are not hooked into the ignition switch, they are direct through a fuseable link, to the battery side of the solenoid.
If I can find my digicam before I fall asleep, I'll grab a couple pics of what you're looking for on my 250.

while they might not be to the igniton switch they do have lines that go up into the stering column that connect to the turn signal switch. hmmmmm i wonder and i do have a chiltons and you may try to bag on it but it is made by haynes so its the same thing

Nothing in the headlight or brakelight wiring goes into the column harness, the signal lights are on switched power, and run through the column harness, but, the headlights and brakelights are not tied to the column(believe me, I know, I used to maintain a fleet of these trucks.)
Dude, Chiltons aren't made by Haynes, and are/were a considerably better manual... at least my old one is pretty much a slightly condensed photocopy of a Ford manual...
Anyhow, your problem is not under the dash, the fuseable links are in the harness that comes off of the solenoid/voltage regulator(if you don't have an internal regulator alternator) under the hood, right at the solenoid, you will find rubber blocks on the wires that have fuseable links.

ok ok so it has to be these fuseable links. so once i track down which one it is what is the best way to replace it, do the whole wire or just that section of wire.

You just replace the fuseable link section of the wire itself, my local mom and pop parts store has that kind of stuff on the shelf.
Here's the section on Fuses, Circut breakers, and Fuseable links from the 84 Ford Truck Shop Manual, in PDF format:
