the light that looks like a battery is on
looked in th manuel and it says something about ignition
any help
what is it
how can i fix it??

Probably your alternator, or regulator. Put a voltage meter on the battery and you should measure around 14V with the motor running. If not, replace one or both of the above.
[Edit] After checking all the connections that is.

dude,
i don't know where to start.... we need to work on your troubleshooting skills.
Your battery light has a great deal to do with your charging system.
Have you noticed your problems with your tach lately? Do your headlights flicker?
your alternator should have a built in voltage regulator so they are repaired/replaced at the same time. HOWEVER, it could be something as simple as a loose alternator belt.

the tach deos jump around everynow and then i havent seen any real flickering of lights
ill check the voltage meter after i get off work
amd ill check for a loose belt
but i dont think that is it
cause i tightened it due to slippage and the squeeling noise it was makin

the light seems to get brighter when i rev the motor.
it also is brighter when the hedlights are on
