If yes, did a speedo shop make an adapter for you? or .....?

I haven't yet gotten to this point in the swap yet, but i talked to a place that does custom brake lines and speedos here in waco. They said if i brought one chevy speedo cable, and one toyota speedo cable, they could figure it out...

I don't know about other speedos but I pulled one out of a 65 nova and just buy looking at it it will fit in the stock cruiser gauge cluster.

I am in the process of retroing my guages and just out of curiousity I pulled out my old nova one so that when I go to the th350 I didn't want to have to buy a special guage or speedo and it was damn near the same thing.

If I can just get the needle off of both speedos cleanly I will be able to swap the cruiser speedo face with the nova speedo face and bolt it back in. The only problem that I can see is the depth of the nova guage seems deeper.

I am going to try this for two reasons. 1 because I dont' want to buy a special cable. and just in case I have to buy a cable.

the nova guages usually go for about 15 bucks on ebay. should probably compare this to the price of a custom speedo cable.

I only mention the nova one because I would assume most chevys are the same bloody thing after you take off all the frill. Also it is the only one I can look at.

I looked at the options for my 55 and I decided that the Autometer Electronic Speedo was the easiest........... just a sender that fits on the 205 speedo drive and wire it into the Gauge on the dash

I wonder if a CJ5 or JEEP speedo would work?. HAHAHAHA just kidding you dont want to taint a good toyota with that stuff. Mine is really off anyway. Good thinking though Dave, I would have been finding that out too late if it was me for sure.
