Im working on my new yota project and am to the point of the cab clearence issues. I have read a lot of people cutting the firewall but I need more room than that would give me. I am running 39" boggers and yj springs in the front . I plan on building a flat bed in the rear and a tube modular frontend for the fenders to mount to . I am thinking of moving my cab , motor , trans tcases etc back 6" and the rear axle back 1 foot anyone got anyother ideas , also if anyone has done this please post some pics thanks chris:roxy:

It'd be easier to just move the front axle way forward like Rockstomper's. Especially since you plan on making a front end already.

If you move the cab back, what are you going to do about:
1. Fan to radiator clearance
2. Steering box to core-support/body mount clearance?
All can be addressed, but it'd be easier to move the axle foreward.. :)
just to be different do it ! Doesn't sound like a bad idea to me lot of work but would accomplish the job. Don't move the engine back to much I've been hearing people have been moving theirs forward to stop weight transfer on hill climbs.
