I got a 60 detroit from randys r&p for $400, reason is me and a few buddies waited and all bought a bunch-o-sh!t (5 detroits, 1 spool, 6 ring and pinions, install kits, case spreader, bearing puller, and some other stuff) all at the same time. They like it when you do that, and hook you up pretty well.

ALSO, another idea... Call up randys and just ask for a price. Then call back to a different salesman... chances are they'll tell a slightly different price, but cut the one you heard first by a reasonable amount (like 40 or 50 bucks) and say "oh, you want this much, well another sales representative (remember their name so it sounds legitimate) was offering it for this much." And chances are that they'll honor it.

The reason I say this is I called ahead of time for d44 spool prices, one guy quoted me a certain price, but when I called back later and made the huge order, the other sales guy quoted me with a much higher price, so I corrected him. They work off of commision, so they;ll try to squeeze every last dollar out of you.

I only paid 335.00 for a detroit locker for my D44 from 4wpw. that was last year though. And yes it was the full locker.
