currently my CJ3A Willys has a 327 w/ T90 and D18 (on it when I bought it), but I am going to swap a SM465 w/ D300. The SM465 doesnt have a bellhousing on it so how could i make this work? Do i need to buy a sm465 bellhousing, or can I make it work with the one on it now?

Don't know if the one you have will work, but a standard Chevy bellhousing will. You just have to get the locating hole bored out. Cost me $50.

You can regularly find these bellhousings for $25-$50 in either iron or aluminum. Or custom made from places like Lakewood.
