i did my AC to air and hooked it through the AC switch and shorted the low pressure switch so the truck will idle up.now i can fill the tank or just turn the compresor of at the pressure switch and the moter will still say idiling up for crowling.or if your AC dose not work you could just short the switch and have fast idle at a touch of a botton.just thought some one would like to know...O YA the connection is behind the glove box has a red w/greenstripe wire and 2 black just pull it apart and stick a U wire in and tape done.JFYI:p :usa:

That's EXACTLY what I did when I set up the OBA for Edge and TRD12. :D

Yup, just like ErikB said that's exactly how he did mine...however my little pressure switch died...probably cause I got mud and water all over it from wheeling :D So I just did it the old fashion way and bypass'd the switch for now. Works good though and can't thank ErikB enough.

Correct, if your truck doesn't have A/C, then you have to find another way.

The way I did it since I wanted to leave all the factory A/C stuff working and separate, was to duplicate the factory A/C idle-up setup and hook that up to my OBA pressure switch so that it idles up both when the A/C is running and when the OBA is running.

Basically you just need the diaphram thingy w/ the platic hi-idle adjust screw and a vacuum switch and some hoses. Just get 'em at the junkyard.

TRD12- just pick up any old vacuum switch at pick n pull and replace yours and it will idle-up like its supposed to! :) I'm surprised you didn't fix that yet. :p :D
Oh wait- you said PRESSURE switch. :emb4: The one you bought? Oh well, that sucks. The little one from SunPerformance.com is nice and small and probably more water proof... That's what I've got on mine right now.

My experience :
I got the SunPerfomance OBA kit from Central 4WD. It had
almost all the goodies I needed in one package, pricey though.
The tank I used also was Sun. Made it very easy to install.

Used my factory A/C compressor and controls.
In the summer , my top is off, so don't need A/C. :smokin:

Takes about a minute to air-up one 33" tire from 12 to 30 psi. Who needs York ? Toyota all the way . :D
