im not sure what type of axle this is but i have searched and i cant find any thing worth while i believe it may be out of a new 2500hd or 3500 chevy truck here are the specs

74 WMS

the codes i could get of it are

X42815-2
012 0
05 03 94

4.10

i would assume it gots 4.10 gears and it has disc brakes but unsure exact vehicle it would come from any help would be good

All the numbers you gave are pretty much worthless though for identification. You need the BOM # on the axle tube

Dana 70, also could have come under anything from vans to ton trucks. Need the BOM number to know exactly.

Do a search for BOM #'s or contact Mr. N for his BOM list, it is quite extensive.

That at least looks like a nice unit, disc brakes and 4.10 gears.
