Ok I've looked thru searching but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I'm looking for ideas on mounting my rear shocks. I just did an SOA and axle swap and now I can't fit any decent length shock in the rear. I don't want to cut into the tub nor do I want to have anything hanging down low below the axle tube. What have some of you done? Pics would help. As it is I've got about 18" from stock upper mount and to the center of the axle tube. I've also got an air tank mounted in front of the fuel tank. So there's not a lot of room for different upper mounts. What do you think?????

Are you full width? You can mount a piece of 2x8x3/8" Stock steel w/ tabs on the outside of the frame rail and run the shocks on the outside. You can cut the steel length accordingly and mount them that way. You can stuff a 36" extended shock under there, if done right. Or just mount the F250 front shock towers to the outside of the frame, that shoud work too.

If you are not willing to cut, can't triangulate cause of the air tank, and, naturally, don't want to put the lower mounts below the axle, you will either pay a crap load for long travel shocks to mount outside the axle, or do like I did for about 2 years. . . . . don't run shocks.

That was my first thought. Probably make things easier and cheaper.

well after taking some measurments I figured I could use the stock uppers and used some tabs from A&A MFG. that mount the shock as close the axle tube as possible it gives me 4" inchs up and 6" inchs down with a 10" stroke shock. Obviously. Not perfect but it'll work. I may change it later that's the beauty of owning a welder and having a buddy with a plasma cutter. Aghhh!(drool) MMMMM PLASMAAAA( in my best Homer Simpson)
