I put FJ80 Electric locker in the front, but now it seams like there is a plate (with 2 10mm bolts holding it on) that is on the side of the diff that is in the way of the springs. Does anyone know what people have done to fix this problem?

Thanks

Mike

Yes, you have to remove the bolts and countersink them, replace them with flathead bolts or screws. Here's a couple of pictures of mine, should show you what I mean:

Thanks for the info, I will try that. My springs are about 3/8 inch closer in than they would be on a Toy. With this mod how much room do you have? KLF did you make your own controller? I think that I saw a post a while back of one that you made.

Thanks

Wow, 3/8" closer, you might be in trouble. It is a TIGHT fit. I think there is less than 1/4" clearance in several places on mine.

Yes, I made my own controller. Several people have asked me about making them, but I'm afraid I don't have the time. But, money talks... :D

I tried that mod it help but it is going to hit. I also have wrangler springs that are wider. Now what are the pro,s and cons of using a 1" spacer? I tried one and it will fit now.

Mike

Spacer should work, but WELD it to be safe.

The wiring is done now, took me 3 hours to do it. I am thinking about buying some 1" solid m. and then weld it.
