Mopar is better in my opinion but why spend the money? Go to a junkyard and swap on the 4.0 fuel injection on to your engine, its gonna be a little cheaper and gonna work just as well. But I say just get a new carb and go to a v8 later thats what Im doing. Just me two cents good luck:smokin: :usa:

The question should be Ford or Chevy:D

if you want to put FI on your 4.2 i would say go with the howell setup. It uses common chevy parts that any parts store will carry...this is good when out in the middle of know where(something like Clayton, OK where there is only one parts store(NAPA) in town and it seems as though they close whenever they feel like)

I agree with the 4.0 swap, I just bought a 4.0 with 70k miles, for $400, you shouldn't expect to pay more than $700. How much is Mopar fuel injection again?
