yeah i know it is wrong and i don't do it normally but when something comes up like the atlas group buy how wrong is it to post this on the boards where the info might be useful? i myself read more that one board on this bbs but does everyone? i posted a message on the jeep board refering people to the post on the general board and i was contacted that the message on the jeep board was deleted because there was already posted here on the general board. i thought the group buy was usefull info and if you are like me you want a good deal. some of the guys on the jeep board might be interested so why should they miss out??? i just don't understand. :(

also i was told it should be on the for sale board and not on other board???? i'm not selling them. i'm just trying to spread the word. why i am asking is am i in the wrong here?

yes cross post are a pain in the ass and i usually delete them.

general 4x4 is a perfect place to post it.

ok to you and the other moderator i am sorry for the cross post. i too do not like seeing cross post that generally happen here on this bbs system. something like this seemed to be and exception to me but i guess i was wrong. sorry and it won't happen again.

As much stupid shit that gets posted all over the place I see no reason to delete it unless you were doing the BTT 5 times a day for a week. There are alot of people that stay in their own area and never leave. If you want to put it on chit chat I will sticky the post for a day or two.

That is one heck of a deal!! Isn't that part of the reason for this place? Share info and save people $$$ :D

I still think we need a vendor/group buy forum. Somewhere where everyone can list what they offer either parts or service. I would rather spend my $$ with someone here that I can trust than search the net or mags and pick someone that "looks" good.

no big deal really. your right that some times it is appropiate to cross post and in your case i would agree with you and i would have left it alone. anyhow don't sweet it. and cool deal on the group buy.
