what widths are you guys running when you switch over to the 60s/44s? How much wider is that than a Stock FJ40?

i am running a cab and chassis dually 14bolt in the rear. the cab and chassis version of the 14bolt is 62 or 63" wide (the standard 14bolts are 67"wide) so it was a useable width for the jeep. all i did was narrow my front dana 60 to match and that was that.

your axle width isn't your only concern. actually overall width with tires and all is more of a determining factor. tire width, rim width, rim back spacing, etc. are all factors that play into this. now you just need to figure out where you are and what it will take to get you to where you want to be.:D

I'm swapping out my 55" stock fj40 rear for a 58" hybrid dana 60/toyota pickup rearend.

For the front I'll use some spacers from adapters-store.com until I can afford a real frontend (Dana 60:D ) . The front is currently 56.5" but it will be 59" w/ the spacers.
