Well, I got tired of the truck not fitting in the garage.

I can't work on it until 2:00 a.m. because it would be pretty loud running the chop saw with the doors open:flipoff2:

I tried airing the tires down to 2 psi front and 1 psi rear and it would fit, but I had to ratchet strap down the suspension, which was getting old fast.

So I took this:

Becasue of the inspiration from too much of this:

And taped off the area to be cut:

And yes I'll have a pirate4x4.com sticker on it before EJS instead of the ck5 sticker:flipoff2:

And this is what I ended up with:

And does it fit?

Barely.....

1/2 an inch to spare :)

And what I cut off.

It's just rough cut right now. I plan on finish cutting it and getting my cage installed now. I will still be able to just bolt on a piece of 18 gauge when I need a roof for bad weather.

a cool addition to this would be a snap on canvas top for it. just a thought, i dont think it would be that expensive

Now you just need to get the cage in it so we can roll it on the last waterfall of upper...

Try reading the posts and not just looking at the pictures :flipoff2:

PJTPW, this rig is awesome. By far my favorite full size buildup of all time. Can't wait to see pics of it on the trail.

You should have seen the look on my neighbor's face when they walked outside and I'm standing on the hood with a sawzall.:D
