Well I'm leaning toward a S/R with YJ's for the front end of my Zuk. The problem is I have no fab skills and think $500 from Asian auto parts and is a big chunk of change. Through my searches, I know that RRO and Calmini offer kits but they are still too much $$$. I know Moto mentioned once he makes them, but I never got a response from emails to him. Suggestions beside more searching?

Toyota axles or suzuki axles, YJ's or suzuki springs?
I have always thought about ordering something like the Allpro Offroad front hanger for the toyota pickup truck, and then doing some scouring of the JCWhitney for the rear shackles mounts (they have CJ bolt on, heavy duty stuff).
Last, make the shackles from 3/8" steel.
Cost would be $140 (hanger) + $40 for the shackle hangers, and a few more for material for the shackle.
Go here (http://www.allprooffroad.com/solid4.html) for the front hanger
Go here (http://www.jcwhitney.com) for JCWhitney's online website, enter SKU 81ZX7995W for the shackle hanger
You will still need to extend the front frame horns to do this.
Last, I make no guarantee this will work.

Trail Tough sells a nice bolt-on kit for $289, but it isn't S/R :( I would consider that route if you aren't up to fabbing it yourself and money is an issue. Don't forget, that you need to add a new front driveshaft (long spline) if you go S/R. That would make the total cost around $650 delivered from AAPA.
Sounds like the question is: Is the S/R worth $361 to you

Just to clarify, this would be with Toy axles and YJ springs. Tusker brings up a good point. I'm running the Trail tough YJ for the year, running the fronts would not be a bad thing. Just trying to stay cost effective. But obviously throwing a new DS in the mix...kills that idea.

Aren't the All-pro kits designed for toy leafs? so the hangers wouldnt be wide enough? It is a good idea though!
