I was just wanting opinions on buying this 88 1/2 samurai. i want a good mud rig but gas is terible and was looking at getting this guys sammy. it has a spring over lift and a custom dump bed on back. has 31"s would replace with 33" boggers. do you think ts a good deal for 3000? i am gonna try and get it for 2500. thanks in advance.

looks cool, and with a set of boggers it would be even better. For $2500 i'd buy it.
Can't really tell in the picture...but can you see out of the rear? It'd be a lot harder to see stuff if it is solid.
Ditch the wood panels and wheel...new suspension...some good tires and you should have a nice mud-buggy.

I've got a lot more done to mine and wouldn't dream of asking 2500 for it. For that price it should already have 33"Boggers, lockers front and rear and maybe even a 4.1 t-case. Way too much money IMO. You can find them for cheaper and build it for a lot less.

I think your right Halffastford, but if he dont have time or the skills to build one this isnt too bad. Besides if he buys this one for around 3000.$ that makes the market better for when we sell ours:)
