very simple swap. you might want to call my buddy simon at night 909-920-4047. he's got a shop just south of you and for his tender age he's a cruiser guru.

A buddy of mine just bought a complete front axcel off a 76 to convert his 72 to discs and he paid 400 minus the master cylinder.
I was wondering if he could use his old master cylinder seems like everyone recomends a later one but can't see why the original would not work even though the bore is smaller.

Hey Donald, let me know if you need some help with that front end, either installing or taking it off you hands, Kelly.

I just finished that exact swap over christmass break. I payed $600 for a complete non running 79 and swaped the disks onto my 71. the swap could be done in a weekend but i took a little longer because i relpaced everything (seals, berings and races, etc.) while i had it apart. I also cut and turned so that took some time as whell. All in all it is still a fairly easy swap. If you check www.Ih8mud.com there are a few good write ups on it.
