You know how all the rock competition guys unlock the rear of their rigs with their twin stick transfer cases, smash the rear brakes and pivot around a corner in 4 low/Front 2wd?
Well, it works AWESOME! You can turn on a DIME!
I forgot one thing.....
BIRFIELD!!! <IMG SRC="smilies/mad.gif" border="0">

Nolen, did you screw up the tie rod I sent you? I thought you were out of order with the rear third member.

Yeah,
Rebuilt it to the tune of $300 just to wheel a couple more times before my new axles are ready.
Hell, can't pass up all the fun can I? <IMG SRC="smilies/jeep1.gif" border="0">

Yep, birfs are for kids.
Hopefully in a few months I will no longer be a kid.
At least on one of the Toys.
Cool pics.

wow interesting set up a lifted front
staying s/u whith double shackels in the front.
questions
how much lift?
did you rotate axel?
how does it work on the trail?
how does it work on the road?
ps try the new fields.

Ha!
They are Newfields! Trust me, that is not the answer to 100:1 and 38.5 Swampers.
As for the lift, it is a single large shackle (3" over stock in front/2" in rear) and 7" Alcan Springs with 2 leaves pulled out.
As for on the trail, I have NO complaints. I don't like the long shackles messing with my approach angle, put that only happens occasionally.
On the road it is fine. I am trail only 95% of the time.
