Hey, i found a rear 60 full floater at the local yard, and wanted to price it before I asked about it... Im sure its open, and gears don't really matter to me... Its already out of the vehicle, so no way to tell what its from... Its actually just sitting under a tree with a bunch of tires, some tranny's and some other junk... Although I don't need it now, id love to have it for a future project... Is it worth $200, more, less? I have never priced them, but today we got all four axle shafts for an FJ-55 for $100 and I got some sweet Mitsubishi 3000 GT seats for $50, and priced an SM465 with PTO for $150... Tell me what you have paid for a rear 60 if you don't mind... I did a search, but apparently Im stupid cause i couldn't find anything...

I would say less, I gave $200 for my front. Rear 60's are fairly common, offer him a $100

Hrmmm, thanks... Never priced them myself... I figured at least 200 but we haven't asked the guy about it yet... Maybe we'll pick up a 60 just to have it lying around... WOuld make a good yard ornament right?

I'd expect to pay $100-$120 for a Dana60 rear.

Id tell him its for a "project" & that youll be happy to take it off his hands(pulling a big wadd of 10's & 5's=$80 & wave it front of him). ;) Im sure the "wadd" will attract attention. Its the American way. :D
