diff covers (http://www.bluetorchfab.com/diff_covers.htm)

How do they make these? A 40 ton press brake?

Cut and weld followed by some grinding.

lots of time with a grinder and a flapwheel=smooth and preetty. Least on the outside. I'll see if I can find a pic of the inside of one.

OK, a flapwheel makes sense. I could see it looking that nice.

That must be how the nicer fabricated bumpers are made.

Yup, although some parts of them are bent on a press brake. Iff'n you are planning on building one of these yourself I would suggest you either just plate the front of your existing diff cover, or go work at mcdonalds for a few hrs and get the BTF one as its a lot of work, and theirs is an excellent price.

Ok so I found a good pic of a really nice plated cover..
