Ok here is the deal.I am drying to decide between these two things. I currently have my wheeling cruiser which is SOA 350 sm 465,bla bla bla and also a project 40 that is in the garage and sits as a tub and frame with a D60 front, D70, 350,465, 205 and 39.5 boggers next to it.
Now i have had it for about a year now and all i have done is strip it down and modify the suspension to how i want it. but it has taken waaayyy too long to do that, it is just too hard to go to school, work, wheel, maintain wheeling rig and build another one.

This is where i need help, should i keep trying to build this cruiser and stop wheeling for two years(trust me with school it will), or just put the t-case and axles under my running rig and be happy. that is what i think i want to do because that d60 looks like way more fun than my birfields and i am sure i could have them under there by next summer.

What do you guys with projects think? Is it easy to modify what you have, or to start over again?

For me, working on the projects is half the fun. Although it gets frustrating at times, I don't really care about how long it takes. One big difference is that I am on the other side of the hill of life than you and perhaps have more patience than brains <IMG SRC="smilies/laughing.gif" border="0">

Hell you're still a youngster, you've got all the time in the world to complete that project the way you want it.
So what if it takes a couple of years, like a fine wine it'll take some time.

Like Medusa says, be patient and enjoy the project. Just think of how cool it'll be when it's finally done!

ian i have to side with don on this keep the rig your wheelin now and build your dream rig over a long time .. there will be times that you dont touch it and times that you can keep motivated , that's part of it take your time and do it right ! like don said you have the rest of your life ..
