Alright, when I bought my truck I got it for 400 bucks with nothing in the engine bay. I think I am missing parts and hookups and crap and I am having trouble routing power through the engine bay...

I have everything hooked up and this is just abut the last thing to worry about...

Anyway, start with the positive line off the battery and guide me through the basics (EX. positive battery to starter to starter selenoid, to whatever....) I dont need to know stuff like, 'Then it goes to the headlights, then to the dash.' Just the basics to get me running, then I will worry about the little crap...

Thanks!!!

Not to be rude, but you're asking an awful lot. My suggestion is to find a similar truck, park it next to yours, and make it look the same.

TyTy you need to get a FSM badly, what you are asking is going to be real hard to diagnose without being there.:D :usa: :D

just to get it running huh? ok i'll bite.
assuming theres nothing in the truck for wiring heres what ya do.
from +batt go to starter, - batt ground on block.
run a wire from +batt to ign. switch
from "on" at switch go to coil
from "start" at switch go to selenoid.
that will get you running.

i dont wanna type all day, so for charging, lighting and all other wiring needs, consult the shop manuel or a good auto electric book.

Rhino, thanks... that is pretty much all I need to know. I just needed the basic order of things so that I can get things started right. There are wires and all in there, just nothing is hooked up and nothing was labeled. So, Im pretty much going with the general rule that if something reaches and fits, put it in there:)

I just had no clue where to go off the battery. Ive never put a whole motor in before.

Thanks...
