i need some help setting up dual cases in my 85 toyota pick up. it has the 5 speed tranny. iw as wondering what t-case will work??

Do a SEARCH.

You can go Marlin OR Advanced Adapters. I would (as I have) go Marlin!

There may be others that I am not familiar with.


You can get EITHER case with stock type 2.28 gears, or either case with 4.00, or 4.70 gears.

Advanced Adapters makes a 5.00 gear set now too, but Im a Marlin guy so it doesnt matter.

Is your 85 injected or carbed? That makes a difference on what kind of case you have. Injected has a top shift and carbed has a foreward shift case. Easiest way to go is to call Marlin and tell him what you have and what you want. I would buy from him only, but that is my personal preference due to outstanding customer service.:D If you have a top shift case, you'll need another top shift case. If you have a foreward shift case, you'll need a top shift donor IIRC.
