has anyone ever done the lc engerring stroker kit. i need to rebuild my motor so i thoguht i mgiht do it. please give some input

It is a 4cyl, it will only have 4 cyl power.

I rebuilt my 22re with parts from enginebldr.com. I put a thorley header and a c270 cam from DOA racing. I also did some mild porting and polishing.

That is a lot of money for a little motor. If I had to do it again I would stuff a 302/5.0, T-5, and get an adapter to keep the toy t-case. Or put one of the taco motors in.

It would also be wise to consider the 2.5 out of the taco, along with the 3.4. If you search the toy forum you should find some threads about what tranny will work with those motors.

i'd definitely rather go with the tacoma 2.7. for the work you'd have to do, it would probably be a much better swap. most likely cheaper too, since you can often find the whole deal(wiring, ecu, motor etc) for around 1000 bucks
