He is running a d60 in the rear that he did get out of a ford with a LSD. Front is a D44 shortened on one side just enough to fit a axle shaft out of a ford IFS. Still think he's crazy for cutting up a truck that only had 40,00 miles on it.

Syke- I'm POSITIVE on the 44 and 60! The 44 is a GM axle cut down w/ a Wagonner shaft. I just met up with him eairler this week and that thing HAULS ASS!  Its kinda wierd to be sitting in a 4x4 so high, then accelerating so fast!!! Boost is cool!

This is SuperRunner using my bro's account, too lazy to switch logins, and takes to long on a dialup.

Rear I am running a D60 30 spline ford rear with 4.10's, and factory LSD. It is 65" WMS to WMS.

Front I have an early 70's flat top chevy D44. Passenger side has been shortened two inches, and I am using the shaft from a mid 70's ford(can't remember 1/2 or 3/4 ton.) But the axle length from center of u-joint cap to end of shaft is around 34". Ford has a few differnent lenghts. 34, 35 and 36 that I have seen. The ford shaft acutally uses a larger joint than the chevy side.

Steering, I am using the steering arms from six states, and I had them tap out the flat top knuckle to bolt up the arm. Purchased the pitman insert from front range off road, and used the big fat chevy drag link tie rod end to bolt to the pitman. The chevy drag link end actually has double the movement of ordinary ends. And with the angle of the toyota pitman, it pretty much a must.

Hope that helps out.
