I lifted my jeep 4", about a month ago, and I have some rattling coming from the front end.

I have been underneath it, and I haven't found anything loose or broken, But when I take off from a stop it jumps a little and you can hear the rattling, also when i go offroad and you can really hear it on the bumps and such. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what they did to fix it.

Also I have 31" tires and 3.07 gears and when I'm in 4hi and trying to go through a small rut or something of that nature, the valves start rattling and i have to stop and put it in 4lo to get over or through it. Is that a sign of needing to regear or do you think it's something else??

It's a 98TJ 4.0 5 speed and it has a pro-comp 4" lift.

As of right now it only has 31's on it.

Might check and see if the front drive shaft is rubbing on something.
Have you had it reallined since you put the lift on?

I got it aligned when i put the lift on.

I do get a wobble every now and then, at different speeds

I don't think putting it in 4 low is a good idea for a jeep? :D
