i am swapping a wide trac 30 into a 74 cj-5. i have both thick and thin rotors/calipers/knuckles etc from several different axles. which of the different setups is more desirable? this is my wifes jeep and is 90% street driven.
the thick rotor calipers have a much larger piston. seems these would stop better but no real experience w/ either setup. im sure either will be better than drums.
also am thinking about using one set of disks/rotors ton the rear. anyone done this swap w/ front rotor parts?

Larger caliper bore is always better!

thats what i was thinking but i know the thinner rotor/smaller bore came later and i didnt know i there was a good reason or if it was a cost thing w/ jeep.
