: No more expensive broken tail lights (hopefully)

Yeah I hopefully broke my last EXPENSIVE (read like at least 50 bucks) grand cherokee tail light. Moved them to the center of the tailgate along with blinkers. The tailgate was so smashed that measuring and reference points are pretty much out, I just eyeballed it, sorta close but not perfect. Anyway... I think it's kinda cool...and much more out of the way than the stockers. They could still get hit, but the turn signals are 1.75 and the red ones are 4.69 or something. So yeah I don't really care.

Too bad your white lights or backup lights or rock lights won't last a single trail ride on any trail 4+:flipoff2:

Damn that's ugly, why not build a guard to fill in the space around your backup/rock lights....otherwise I think you'll be replacing those before you know it.

Thats badass Nate! I doubt you give a fawk about those back-up lights anyways...not sure why some people are so caught up on protecting them.

Ok, cosidering they were ROCK LIGHTS and got hit by rocks quite a bit while under my jeep I think they'll be ok. They have a rubber seal around them and they're on a hinge, which I didn't tighten down all the way so they could take a hit and just move. If I break them, then I'll move them. Considering most of the breaks on my stock lights were from tree's rubbing along the body and rarely just jagged rocks shooting directly into the plastic, I think they will last much longer than the stock plastic lights.

I'll be in moab in a few weeks running "4+ trails" so we'll see. yeah actually the jeep leans to the right which might be why the tires look like they're leaning to the left, who knows, it drives ok and the tire wear is fine (besides spool issues)

Glad you all like it!

as a fyi- you might want to switch to red clearance lights, atleast in all the great lake states it is illegal to have any color clearance light other then red facing rearwards.

What about stock reverse lights? As long as you dont go around blinding people ;) there shouldent be a issue.

I think the yellows are directionals, not clearance lights.
