Kimmy -

OK or no OK I am going to rebuild the front end. What happens after that....Who knows <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

Vicki is still pretty freaked about what could have happened - I think it comes from talking to friends who probably think of wheelers as the Chevy commercials going 50 MPH...

Fact is that when the neighbors walked over while it was drying on Monday (I had to wash all the oil & gas out) They asked where the damage was, and until they saw the front they couldn't tell.

"Wow that doesn't look too bad".... Unless you are the one who built it <IMG SRC="smilies/flipoff.gif" border="0">

So yes it will be rebuilt. When will depend on finding the parts, funds etc.

Jim

or knew what it looked like 30 seconds before it happened, watched it happen, then shared your crunched cruiser grief <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

I am:

1. Just thankful that we weren't hurt

2. Feel like a dork for making a simple driving error

3. Proud that my cage building and attention to safety made a difference

Thanks Kim - I owe you and Terry a <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0"> or <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

not necessary Jim, we are just glad you, Ethan and Zoe made it out unscathed. The cruiser is rebuildable and will be better than the last one.

When you say front clip do you mean- body parts, or suspension parts, or what? I have a complete w/s frame from a 72, includes wiper motor and glass is not cracked ($250). I also have fenders that have been bondoed but that are in decent shape ($90), a hood that has a few small dents and is from a 69($80), apron 73($75), grill 73($15), headlight buckets($20), and a spare w/s glass($75). Or I have a one piece fiberglass front end that I would like to sell($450). Email me if you need any of these. davmil44@hotmail.com
