Finally got around to putting in my new windshield today - re-read Butch's write up (it's on Ih8mud's tech section now) and damm - piece of cake. Once I had the gasket on the glass and the rope on it, it literally took 5 minutes and I was done.

Glass that is unscratched, unpitted and not fogged sure is nice:D

The job went so quick and easy that I took advantage of the extra hands and even put the hard top back on - been 6 years and I had forgotten what it looked like with it on.

It's cheap from the dealership - I think I paid 65 bucks with our LSLC discount.

Also: I would spend the 25 bucks for a new gasket. 25 year old rubber prob. needs to be replaced and, it's a lot easier to remove if you can just cut the old windshield out.
