Went to mexico and drank beer on the beach with some friends while the dogs chased seagulls.

Thought about working on the rig a little. Does that count for anything?

Wheeled at Katemcy :D

I made the 2 hour trip North to Katemcy Rocks. Kinda of a cross between Hollister and Granite at the Con.

We broke in a new trail Saturday morning. Nice 40 yard off camber climb with three sections, The first part starts off in the trees, with an off camber climb, the second up to a granite slab with a diagonal that slides you into a rock. Your rear tires are in dirt and the fronts are on the granite, requiring controlled wheel spin and a bump. The third section is an off camber climb on 40+ degree slope, with loose granite that slides you toward the right and near the roll over point.

Once we all made it to the top we cut trail down from the climb. A nasty off camber three foot drop claimed a Sami (Joe W) with a complete 360, he came to rest on his wheels, then 50' down the trail dumped again on the side dropping into the creek bed. I almost lost the Scout coming down, the rear end lifted, a quick blip of the throttle set her back down.

After everyone that was going up the new trail was done we headed over to the end of the water fall trail for a reverse run.

The end of the water fall trail is a 3' water fall. Going the normal way is not bad as you just hold the brakes and let her slide. Going up was a full on wheel spin attack. Placing the drivers front on the dry section allowed you to get the front end up. Once the front was up the technique was a bump with plenty of throttle which usually resulted in a 4 wheels spinning as you sawed the wheel back and forth searching for traction. Couple of the rigs required the strap and one Toy ate a Birf.

We had to cut the run up short due to a stuck rig coming down the crevice, so we climbed up out of the creek and over the ridge to the beginning of the trail for the run back to camp.

An excellent time though we didn't run more then 200 yards of trail in 7 hours.

I spent the weekend working ON the shop still.. a little more drywall hung, more wire run.. since this is Spring Break, maybe I can finish the drywall and wiring this week..

Drove the Scout to work all last week.. my reward for paying so much time with "Tigger"?

Throwout bearing is shot.

Headed up for the Moonshiner's swap meet early Saturday morning. Spent saturday night with a bunch of good buddies drinkin' beer and watching wheeling video's. Got up early on Sunday and headed down with Binderbound to Moonshiners. Picked up a set of brand new Warn hubs for a good price and the high steer arms we need for our project rock scout. Talked to Rusty and bit and he has almost got meconvinced to buy a red star so all you can see what kinda crap Binderbound and myself have been building for the past couple of months!! All in all a very good weekend.

Does anyone know if he is really competing and if he is where I sign to be his spotter. OH THE AMUSEMENT LIFE BRINGS ME DAY TO DAY

Sure wish I could have made it down to see you guys Saturday evening. Got stuck helping someone replumb their kitchen sink. They were *supposed* to have had everything together to make a quick project of it so I could head over to Kyle's after, but such was not the case...

My 6 year old and I headed to Tacoma and crashed at a good friends home. Some other friends were there as well.

Sunday morning we went to the swap meet. Biggest turn out that I can recall for some time now.

Looked at lots of rigs for sale in the parking lot....wish I had some $$

FUcking divorce and soon to be ex-wife that goes with it...I will have a rig again...I swear:rolleyes:

pulled the drag link, and drove over it a few times, it's flapper, but i wat to do that again on black top. although it probably straight enough to move it around the yard.

pulled transfer case, ended up pulling the cross member to get at that stupid hidden bolt. tried pulling the nut behind the bull gear, when i turn it with a wrench, it spins the crankshaft i need to round up another body to hold onto a wrench at the front of the engine.

played with the bosses' new toy: tigger.tmcom.com/~nqs/images/camera/7mar2004/

Take the top cover off the tranny and put engage any two gears at the same time. The tranny is now mechanically bound and will not turn. Then remove the bull gear nut..... use an impact wrench if you have it, that nut is on there with something like 200+ ft-lbs of torque.
