Thinking about doing a SAS on a tracker. Will a Tracker Drive shaft bolt up to a Toy 3rd?

Nobody's ever done that before.

EDIT: Did I say that out loud?

Yeah, it's a common thing. The search button will help.
Look for SAS. Heather Galvin's doing it to her 4-door Kick right now.

I read through the recent Tracker SAS but I did not see anyone mention the drive shaft. I Know in Samurai's a Toy D-shaft is used but the Track/Kick has a different T-case. Thanks

I just did a search "sas driveshaft" I came up with 2 theards none of which stated what drive shaft thet are using.

Yes if possible. How much lift can you go without running into vibe problems with the stock slip yoke drive shaft? I'm a old heep guy so I really know nothing about these things.

If you are going to a long travel suspension the slip yoke would likly not be good to stay with. You could make an adapter from the tracker slip yoke and have the inner splined shaft modified (drilled and tapped) so you can then bolt the yoke to it and attach a normal driveshaft.

I considered this then said the heck with it and ran dual tcases with the sami case in back. no more issue. (I then had flanges to bolt to.)

a sami T-case flange will fit on the tracker T-case outputs, even the tracker seal will work. All you would have to do (like Wildweasel said) is tap the tracker output shafts for a bolt to hold the flange on.

Cool thanks. Is there any good place the get a sammy flange without having the Sammy T-case?

I am pretty sure you can get them from the vendors pretty easy, or check your local junkyards
