Last week I jammed my right wheel into a slope pretty hard, knocking the tire off the bead... On the way home I noticed my steering wheel was way off, I thought that I had bent my tie rod or drag link.
Being a toasty 35 degree day out today , I'm outside going over the whole Jeep...
My toe that I set at 1/8" in is now 3/4" out...Looking it over though, nothing is bent. I'm gonna reset my toe as soon as my ears thaw out :D
The main questions is: How could my toe get knocked so out of whack when nothing is bent???

Depends on the style of tie rod you use. The sleeve type, typical OEM, you may have had the sleeve just slip over the threads, allowing the ends to move apart. The the threads rights near the end sof the sleeves to see if there is any sign of it pulling apart.
You bent something, probably a steering arm. If the toe is off 5/8"
you may have only bent an arm 5/16" or less. reset the toe and go.

That's what I though too, it might have just hopped some threads. I didn't see any visible signs, but then, the the whole front end's caked in mud. I just reset it, and I should be good to go. Thanks..
pull it right apart and check the threads my buddies did the same sorta thing reset and a while later whole thing pulled apart.Scary stuff no steering.
