I am finishing up the soa on the front. I reversed the springs to lengthen the wheelbase and I am having the front dshaft lengthened this week. If I am not mistaken, I will have 20* angle on the front dshaft and about the same in the rear. I did not cut or turn the pinion up. If I seem to have problems binding, I may do this in the future. So, what angles are you running without any problems?

I had to take an angle grinder to the t-case flange on the front driveshaft when i did mine. It was a 76 so it should be the same as yours. After that, it never bound up even when fully flexed down. I didn't move the axle forward, either, so you should be better off than i was.

i my knuckles turned because of the potential negative caster problems. if you don't turn them you'll mostlikely have to run a shim ( 3 to 5 degrees ) and maybe grind your yokes.

i didnt turn my front, i pointed the rear end at t case and used a cv and had no problems, the front never pulled out or binded. my new set up is way wack but the old set up was as i stated! jiMMy

Mine is about 14 deg rusty. I turned the pinion to shoot directly at the tcase. Front and rear. No driveshaft vibrations that I can find (Swampers probably do a really good job of hiding that <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> ) And there is not a CV on either end...

So far with the amount of flex I get I have not had a binding issue but it is really close....
