I have an opportunity to buy a Howell Fuel Injection system from a guy who is retiring his Jeep.
I have heard this is a MUCH better system than the Holley because it uses GM throttle Body and computer system.
Anyone have any imput on this?

Way more BS than I want to deal with. Thanks though!
Did you get those 44's from San Antonio? What is that going to go on?

If you help me install it, I might think about it!
I just don't have the facilities to do an engine swap.
Would my F bellhousing bolt up? If so.......

The kicker is that all you need to do is replace the head on your 2F. The 3F head bolts directly to the 2F motor and actually increases the compression a bit. It would be a very clean instalation. And you would not even have to pull the motor.
Look into it amigo. I have been thinking that the 3F FI is the ideal way to go but everytime I see a motor for sale they want like 2k for it.
Go for it man....

I have a 3FE in my barn waiting for installation into my FJ40 but I haven't had the funds, time, list of all the components needed, etc.. to do it.
If you guys do the 3FE swap can you PLEASE share pics and details in POR or maybe post them on a web site?
I could use a nice "3FE's for DUMMIES" article before I start <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Jason,
I'm not convinced the 3F is the way to go yet. Still need to look hard into it. I really would like Propane like we talked about. No computers!
As for the axles, yeah I am pumped. I am getting them from Sunray engineering and they are going to be $2000 less than Dynatrack and if anything goes foul, I'm right here at the shop!
Start adding up what you can get $$$ wise for your axles if you sold them and you will see that buying new axles is not that much of a stretch!
