willymutt 01-05-2002, 09:35 PM OK, I know that it isn't a rockcrawler, but it is a 4x4. I have a 99 XLT that had one of the coil on plugs go out the other day. Is this a common thing? Also, is there a way to read the actual mileage incase the odometer was disconnected? I have been wondering if this might have happened. Thanks for any help you can give me. If it was dissconnected for any period of time the truck would run like shit. And you can't reset, or change the mileage. If your thinking that the coil shouldn't have gone out, because of low mileage, or something, don't worry, its not a big deal. Just be glad you didn't own a Vortec Chevy when all the injectors were recalled, and those damn trucks would just die all of a sudden, cause the injectors gave up....then you had to pull the intake to change the damn things!!!!
