OK, first off I know Kilby sells them.. but I want a local source to get one from.

Anyone know the part # for teh serpentine pulley/clutch assembly for the york? Rumor has it some cars had them and of course Brad can get them so I know they exist.

I want to try to get my York in to my 92 YJ 4.0L before saturday. I blew up the sanden I had.

Thanks.

Kenworth carries them.
Just ask for a 6 rib serpentine pulley.
They run about $80, but are often on sale for about $60.
They usually have them in stock.

Any of the big truck shops will carry them. I work at International and we always stock them. Got a brand new one sitting in the garage.

But did a serp belt clutch for a york ever come on a "car" that I might find in a yunkyard? or only on big rigs. I don't see kenworths very often at pic-n-pull:flipoff2:

the two cherokees at lynnwood.. I pulled it from one. don't remember seeing another one.

I snagged the work from a waggie.

There are a few very rare cars I understand that had a york serpentine.. we looked at all of them and nothing. So kenworth is my next stop.

I guess thru sheer luck I found one at the first yard I went to.
Mid-late 70s Ferd Tbird, Cougar, something like that, CA car.
But now it's making noises...

found:

through Kenworth, Part #KA1485 is a 6 groove 5-7/8" pully, part #KA1410 is a litte bigger than 6" (but less than 7, I forgot) but same thing.

Price was $103, wil have it here tomorrow so I can tell you guys how it fits/works, but it says its for a york and includes the clutch mechanism.

Now.. I have a lead... anyone able to find it cheaper for future reference?

That was the wrong part#, discovered after I got there to pick it up.. the KA1485 is a 8 groove.

The right part# is KA1480, will have it tomorrow, let you know how it fits.

Damn, The guy behind the counter, must have been in a good mood, when I bought mine, I only paid about $75. That was only about 6 month ago.

not much.. like $6..

If I could find *just* the pully it probably woulda been cheaper. But I had to get the magentic part as well as the pully.

Mine was complete with the clutch and all also.
It might have been on sale or something. They were selling brand new Yorks for about $170 at the time, if I remember right.
