There is supposed to be some pretty hard core stuff in the Dakotas. Can't remember the names of the trials now. At that point Colorado and Utah wouldn't be too far either... :)

Your 82, is it an LJ or an SJ?

I was a landcrusier guy and then i realized that 2600 pounds and 35,s just go so much further then 35s and 5000 pounds.

don't mean to pick nits - but tengrand, your sig...

do you mean you are like a hard core french moose or are you an original hardcore?

just curious - the "maybe" typo really spins my crank.

SJ, LJ, Samurai............................at this point its redundant.
It has more Toyota than Zuki heart , so I'd call it a Hydrid.

gottcha.

In that case you might want to modify your sig so that it says "original" instead of moose-like in french.

Amen. People are starting to realize the next "big" thing is keeping it small and light. I think I am going to try ditching the windshield, targa bar, doors and tailgate after this next weekend. I want to see if the Zuk climbs better with less weight. We are going to take a couple people up Highway to Hell so that'll be a good comparison since it is still fresh in my mind.

every little bit of weight reduction helps. Just removing the rear seat made the differance in being able to get up a steep incline.
