I was trying to get a FJ-80 HP front third for my 4runner and I found this website that has some Landcruiser stuff listed for sale. She has 2 FZJ-80's that she is parting out and parts list shows the front being the same PT# as the rear

here is the website www.ozgrl.com

So I e-mailed her to try and get the right part and the price and she is telling me that it has a 9.5" reverse rotaion third:confused: Did they ever make that. I've never seen one. anyway, has anyo9ne ever bought stuff from her? Has anyone ever seen a 9.5" HP third? What the hell is she talking about? I'm I just crazy?

Here is what she wrote:

" The axlecode is in the part number box. K292
K= 9.5" ring and the ratio is 4.11 : 1
The drive does not comeout of the center of the housing on the
differential
it comes
out above center on the front and below center on the rear. Front and
rear
are interchangable. I have two '91s and a '93 here and they are all the
same.

If it were 8" ring gear the 1st letter would be B - I have some of
those but
they are for 4Runner and Tacoma. I sell them for $375 each.

Someone help me out here....I'm

K292 is the factory code for a non locked 80 series. All 80s have the small high pinion front. Because the back is the larger ring gear maybe she is reading the code and thinking that they are both the same.

I haven't done business with her as I haven't found that the prices were that exceptional.

K294 is the code for locking diffs in an 80 in case you were wondering.

If they are 80 series front third members they are 8" and they are reverse cut HP. That is the only thing that went in them.

Thanks for the axle code:beer:

That will help when dealing with people that don't know what the hell they are talking about. ;)

Any suggestions on who I should call to find a K294 front 8" HP?
