I was just wondering if anyone else has an SJ410 and pics of it

A friend of mine has one as a project. I'll see if I can talk him into posting some pics. He wants to put a nissan 2liter in it with sidedrafts. I say a built 13 or a 16 but keep it zuked.

Heres one that I just picked up a few weeks ago. But it was taking up too much space so I sold it a week later.

yeah, we have an sj410 me and my dad went down to fort worth to pick it and ever since then its been in the garage in peices. The original story was that some guys wanted more power for his in africa and wanted to see if a isuzu 2.3L would fit in it. so this was sort of the test vehicle. i guess they rip out everything, put the 2.3 L in and then never put it back together. We also have an 86', tring to get pix of both

I have one. A shop in tampa has 3 or 4 of them in the yard along with an lj and about 50 other zuks. I have met a couple other owners around fla. I have a good 4 speed and other parts if you need some.

I have a built 85 SJ410 and a bone stock 83 SJ410 (in need of engine rebuild). I stole the steel half doors off the 83 for my long wheel base sammy project! Here's a pic of the 85.

When you say built, does that have the 1.0L engine, or something a little bit bigger under the hood? Also, I've heard different stories on spring placement on the SJ410 vs. sammis. SJ410 springs are inboarded more. Does that affect your wheeling much, if at all?

The 410 has different axles. That's why the springpads are inboarded.

i have an 82 sj410 tin top that was manufactured in 81. it does not have the luxury heater option but it is a real good runner with super low origional miles.

i stole the t-case out of it to put in my wife's samurai though:shaking:

If manufactured -81 it should be on of the very 1st SJ410's.
If I could find one good -81 model i would restore it:eek:

Here is one good ORIGINAL SJ410 which is restored almost completely. That's supposed to be 1st SJ410 imported to Finland.
Someday I will try to buy it but I know it's not cheap :(
Luckily it's sitting in dry barn whit many other old and rare cars.

It has just 80 000 km (50k miles) behind it,
so it's quite virile :-)

It has a 1.8 Toyota Corolla motor and 5 speed tranny in it. It also has sj413 axles and transfer case so there's really nothing left of the 410 running gear. I gave this rig to my buddy recently so now it resides in Lemoore, CA.

My garage is now clean just for the record! And I would just as soon forget about that paint job on the 83.:D For those that don't know, it's white with rainbow colored drops all over the side :rainbow: I blame the previous owner Mr. 40 Bones!!
