Anybody put these on there truck without any AAL, lift bock, or lift shackle? Just curious how much they lift by themselves. Sorry for yet another chevy spring post:eek: I wanna know though:smokin:

well, if you leave out the 3" lift block, they will give 3" less lift than with the block...

Why dont you just buy some chevy springs and bolt them on and find out.

Moderator, PLEASE delete this post!!! PLEASE!!! :D

Your kidding right?

Total lift? Ok, here's the formula- Add the lenght of the Chevys (63") to the lenght of the Toyotas (48"), divide by 7.932, subtract 17, then for every year of your age, add .20! Your answer will be the EXACT HEIGHT of lift that the Chevys will give w/o a shackle, AAL or Block. Promise!

Yet another good question. But yet everyone is gonna jump right on the "use the search" bandwagon.

NavyDogg...This is not a good question...hell, he dosent even have to use the search...it is answered in like the THIRD POST ON THIS BOARD!!! The post gives you this exact number and answers the question to a tee!

navyDogg...I found a good example of why your wrong...

How would you like it if for several years everyone keep posting, asking you if you are in the navy?

After a while you would get pissed. Especially since if you look under your nase, it says right there thsat you are in the navy!!!

same principle

Yes, great question... that has already been answered many times in a couple of write-ups and many, many, MANY threads...

Hint: approximately 76mm

I already have the Chevy's. I do know how to use the search, and I have read every Chevy post on this board. I just wanted to know without reading all those Chevy posts again:rolleyes: You guys are too damn jumpy:eek: :p

What the heck? I made a whole Chevy FAQ. All your questions are answered in there! Don't be stupid. We are not being jumpy. There is no reason for this topic. I hate lazy ass people!

Ok then.........

What do you get more lift out of the 4wd or 2wd? Or does the 4wd just give you the extra height of the extra leaf? The 4wd springs would be better for a 4runner than a pick'em up, right?

Why can't we all just get along?:flipoff2: Go ahead and delete the post if you want, i already got my info. I'd do it myself, but I'm a lazy ass:eek: :p

I think you're being WAY too picky. Both will work FINE. Obviously the 4 leaf pack will have a slightly higher spring rate and sag slightly less, so figure out if that's what you want and make your decision.

Let's see...

I have chevys with 2" blocks and I guesstimate I have 3-5" of lift, so minus the blocks you would get 1-3" of
lift :flipoff2:

Not to be a jerk, really, but being truly lazy would entail looking at the Chevy FAQ that Wrench wrote. Lazyness would have been a click, some reading and your answer. As written in the FAQ-

"How much lift do these springs give?

You will get about 2-3" of lift. But the springs are very soft, so most people end up using some lift blocks or add-a-leafs as well."

UHHH, you don't know how to use the search
Well, it's very complicated, you see. First you must click on the yellow"SEARCH " button at the top of the page. Then, now listen carefully, you must type in what you want to search for and click "PERFORM SEARCH."

Do any of you know what the length of the 99-2002 chevy springs are? Would they be good to use? I still haven't got an answer to that on and I have read ALL of the posts!

I have a 2001 3/4 ton and they measured out at 63in. I would think they would work also:rolleyes:
