do they interchange ? same body lines same mounts thanx for info

Im not sure, but I do know that there was a slight body change in those years. I have an 83 cab right now and had an 82 (combined them and junked the 82) and they dont look visually any different as far as mounting, but I havent ever taken any measurements:)

gotta drill and a bfh?

Anything will fit :D:D:D:D:D. The body lines are different, might be pretty cool looking though.

That's for sure. I've got an '84 2WD shortbed cab and bed mounted on the longbed frame of my '83 4WD.

the frames geometry never changed between the solid axle jobbies so the mounts are prolly the same only thing that might be different is the length between the front of the bed and the wheel well

but if they aren't, they will be right :rasta:
