Chezypewf 01-06-2002, 02:43 PM I'm trying to get my EFI converted truck smogged, the smog ref has a vacumn diagram for an 87, and it shows that there is an EGR Cooler from the EGR valve, up to the bottom of the exhaust manifold. I have never seen this before. Is this true? What models had them. Give me the low down on these things, if there was no such thing, then I need to find a diagram that proves this. 85TrailToy 01-06-2002, 05:48 PM The EGR cooler is the part that is bolted to the back of the head. Sounds like he's printed out out the "emission equipment layout" schematic and not the true vacuum hose and tube routing page.
