What backspacing do I need to run with a CJ7 narrow track to run 32x12.50 ATs on 15x10" wheels. It has wheels on it now that rub badly when turning left. It has a 2" lift.

What are they rubbing against? The leaf springs? Run 15x10's with zero backspacing...that would help:flipoff2:

I had 15x10 w/ 3.75" BS. Had 32 x 11.50 x 15 tires with no rubbing at all. You can also move you turn stops out until it stops rubbing.

Thanks for the reply. I want to use the new set of wheels when I get my full width 44s and 36" swampers next summer :), so the backspacing would need to be just enough to clear tires so that I would not put too much stress on balljoints and wheel bearings. I was thinking that if I got 15x10" wheels with 3" of backspacing, I would have plenty of room to fit the 32 and probably larger even with the narrowtrack axles if I decided to move up to a larger tire before swapping to full widths.

I am currently running 35" swampers on those wheels, with full width waggy axles, and the springs outboard the frame. They rub on the springs now a little more than I like. I will be buying new wheels in a few months. I am going with 15x8 w/ 3" BS. I think any less BS will put a lot of stress on ball joints. etc. I dont forsee any problems with the set-up you described. Good luck.
