Alright ...my stock 89yj leafs are toast and i just got a deal on some rancho 2.5's.. If I put these on do you think my u-joints will lat till winter without a SYE. Everything is stock. And I should mention that I'm doing a complete tear down next winter with an entirely different drivetrain. BTW most of my driving is under 55.

Back in the day I ran a trailmaster 3.5 kit on my 91yj without the sye kit and a spicer joint would last around 2 to 3 months depending on how hard I wheeled. If they are fairly new I dont see any problems, but if they are the stock ones go ahead and pay the damn $11 apeice for new ones and do it right. :flipoff2:

Yeah I had actually just replaced the ujoints about a month ago so I think i'll throw those leafs in and see what happens.
