: Wrap bar 8.8?

I poked around with the search didn't find what I was looking for.
We are getting ready to go SOA on our TJ's using 8.8's.
I plan on stitch welding the the tubes to the housing and I want to add an anti wrap bar.
Looking on the 8.8 I that there was a snubber (SHOCK?) type do hickey (tech talk) attached to the diff, seems a waste not to use the holes that are already in the chunk housing, anyone do this type of setup (pics)?
I know a wrap bar on one side/tube should do the trick but having it more lor less centered on the axle seems way more appealing.
Thanks

I built the bar mount to bolt to the upper and lower web, encase the center web, and a gussetted plate off to the side, bolts to three holes of the 8.8 bracket on the passenegr side. It was rock solid, but could be removed in a few minutes.

I was thinking something like that much better to see it thanks a bunch that will do the trick.
BTW why did you sell it upgrade to something bigger?

Did you convert your TJ to Leaf springs? If so disreguard this.

If not, Why in the Fawk would you put a wrap bar on the axle?

For that matter you do not need to stitch the tubes either, really.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but it would not be needed and therefore nothing more than just another thing to f-with.

Ditto on the leaf spring question...

About the welding, its needed to prevent the tubes from spinning in the housing, a common problem with these axles.

Guess I should have typed SOA with leaf springs and not just SOA.

Since you have done that swap I know it's most likely been asked before but hell if I can find it.
Only thing that I'm having trouble with is when they pulled the axles they cut the rubber brakeline.
So I was thinking should I buy a new extened line like for a lifted explore application then have a new end put on it locally or is there some sort of place that can hook me up in a one stop shop type of fashion? Actually is it possible to graft the old Jeep rubber line into what's left of the orig Explorer line?

Brake line... can I recommend this to you:

Run two short rubber hoses to and from the ladder bar. run steel down the ladder bar.

No extended lines to deal with.. a LOT harder to snag on something and pull out.

That is a super good idea I love this board...
That way you can just fab up a hard line yourself using diff ends.
Are those Stock YJ leafs? I'm going to run stockers for now. I am considering squeezing an extra leaf in there since it's in the rear and all, thoughts?
